The Accreditation standard for Chain of Custody (CoC) evaluations contains essential requirements for FSC accredited certification bodies on how to audit enterprises holding a FSC Chain of Custody certificate.
FSC is currently merging and revising the group and multi-site Chain of Custody certification standards, creating a joint standard for Chain of Custody certification of multiple sites. As the changes in the certification requirements need to be reflected in the Accreditation standard for Chain of Custody evaluations FSC-STD-20-011, FSC has also started to revise this standard.
The revision of the Accreditation standard incorporates changes in the requirements for evaluations of CoC multi-site certificates, high risk outsourcing and minor edits.
The development process is closed.
To align the Accreditation standard for Chain of Custody evaluations to the changes in the merged and revised standard for Chain of Custody certification of multiple sites, to ensure that FSC CoC standards are accessible to group and multi-site organizations while also providing a clear and robust set of requirements to facilitate certification of strong organizations.
The standard was approved by the FSC Board in July 2014 and published in September 2014.
