FSC-PRO-30-006 V1-0 ENEcosystem Services Procedure
|Version 1-0 Date:||Tuesday, 22 May 2018|
|Keywords:||Ecosystem Services Procedure, ES|
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Forest Stewardship Standards already require forest managers to maintain/conserve or enhance/restore ecosystem services and environmental values. They also require the managers of FSC-certified forests to identify, produce, or enable the production of diversified benefits and/ or products based on the range of resources and ecosystem services existing in the management unit.
The Ecosystem Services Procedure was written by Chris Henschel, Mauro Ciriminna, Rosario Galán, Saija Hotti, Lucia Fernanda M. Massaroth, Sini Savilaakso and Petra Westerlaan, with support and contributions from a technical working group: Julianne Baroody (Verra), Bruno Brazil de Souza (Instituto de Manejo e Certificação Florestal e Agrícola, IMAFLORA), Mateo Cariño Fraisse (NEPcon), Shambhu Charmakar (Asia Network for Sustainable Agriculture and Bioresources, ANSAB), Owen Hewlett (Gold Standard Foundation), Timo Lehesvirta (UPM), and Jeff Milder (Rainforest Alliance).
