Chris Messer is the  Asia-Pacific sustainability leader for the consumer goods company Kimberly-Clark, working across functions to reduce the company’s environmental footprint and improve the lives of people through its brands.

Under his leadership, Kimberly-Clark’s APAC sustainability programmes have been recognized with several awards, including from Public Affairs Asia, PR Week, Amcham Singapore, Global Initiatives and PwC.

Joe Liao, Supply Chain Manager, Prospect Hospitality Co., Ltd, DL of McDonald’s

Joe Liao is a supply chain manager and has been with Prospect Hospitality Co., Ltd, DL of McDonald’s for 9 years. He spent 4 years in McDonald’s operations first to develop his foundational professions. Currently he has 5 years of experience in supply chain management, overseeing logistics, packaging, purchasing and waste management. He aims to accelerate restaurant efficiency and business growth while continuously driving responsible sourcing by collaborating with suppliers on FSC certification to amplify brand message and support sustainability efforts.

Tetra Pak

Manjula Murugesan, Environment Manager 

Manjula Murugesan is the Environment Manager in Oceania for Tetra Pak, the world's leading food processing and packaging solutions company. Manjula joined Tetra Pak in 2011 as the Environment Manager in Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore. Based in Malaysia, she led FSC deployment to customers, resulting in growth in the number of FSC-labelled cartons from 14% in 2015 to 74% in 2017, and spearheaded consumer awareness programmes on FSC and carton recycling. In Sept 2017, Manjula was appointed Environment Manager for Oceania, based in Melbourne.

GlobeScan

Wander Meijer, Asia Pacific Director

Wander is a senior executive with over 20 years of business and management experience in Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. He is a sustainability and social development policy advisor for several companies and NGO’s in Asia, living and working in Hong Kong and China since 1999. Wander heads up the GlobeScan team in Asia Pacific, which conducts reputation and sustainability strategy work for a range of clients. He is particularly passionate about consumer change behavior research.

Adam Beaumont, Regional Director

Adam has been the director of FSC Asia Pacific since 2017. As a trained Forest Scientist with a Masters in Environmental Law, he has extensive experience in both public and private regulatory systems, natural resource management, and driving regulatory reform. He also has a strong track record of change management in operational practices, delivering successful tactical and strategic projects regardless of the complex settings. During his tenure as the CEO of FSC Australia and New Zealand, he focused on boosting FSC’s awareness, credibility and viability to a wider forestry sector. Beaumont is based in Melbourne, Australia. Besides being a trained Forest Scientist with a Masters in Environmental Law, he is also a Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA).
