ASI lifts suspension of NEPCon
Friday, 21 April 2017
21 April, 2017.- Effective on 19 April 2017, Accreditation Services International (ASI) has lifted the suspension of certification body NEPCon OÜ after it has been able to successfully address and correct the non-conformities that triggered the sanction.
NEPCon was suspended in December 2016 from issuing FSC accredited Chain of Custody (CoC) and Forest Management (FM) certification to new clients in Russia, but with the lifting of the suspension the company is now again authorized to offer and provide for these services in the country.
With ASI’s decision, FSC trusts that NEPCon will continue to deliver the high quality of services expected of all its accredited certification bodies.
NEPCon currently has approximately 1,800 FSC certificates issued worldwide of which 209 are in Russia.
