The Netherlands Launch Revised FSC National Forest Stewardship Standard
Tuesday, 12 March 2019
The new FSC national standard for the Netherlands was developed by a chamber-balanced standards development group by engaging multiple stakeholders.
The process included a public consultation. Additionally, two field tests were conducted: one in a forest managed by a large organization (Staatsbosbeheer) and the other in a small group certified forest. The revised standard applies to all forest types. FSC intends for the revised standard to contribute to increasing the FSC-certified forest area in the Netherlands (currently 45%).

The standard is available here.
