National risk assessment for USA available
Tuesday, 30 April 2019
Effective 5 April 2019, organizations seeking to source controlled wood from the USA – except Alaska, Hawaii and outlying territories - are required to use the latest FSC risk assessment to conform with standard FSC-STD-40-005 Requirements for Sourcing FSC Controlled Wood.
FSC risk assessments are used to determine the risk of an organization obtaining material from unacceptable wood sources when sourcing controlled wood.
The national risk assessment for the USA covers only the coterminous USA (therefore excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories).
