ASI Lifts the Suspension of SKH
Thursday, 2 May 2019
Effective 16 April 2019, Assurance Services International (ASI) has lifted the suspension of FSC-accredited certification body SKH B.V.
With reinstatement, the company is again qualified to conduct FSC Chain of Custody (CoC) certification worldwide except in China and excluding controlled wood.
The suspension of SKH B.V came into effect on 22 November 2018 and was motivated by noncompliance with the ASI accreditation procedure.
Following the suspension, the company sought to address and correct the issues that triggered the sanction and after close evaluation, ASI has concluded that these issues have been resolved satisfactorily and has proceeded to lift the suspension.
With the reinstatement, FSC expects SKH B.V. to scrupulously maintain the high standards demanded of auditing bodies for its certificate holders.
