Wednesday, 26 June 2019

Effective 26 June 2019, organizations seeking to source controlled wood from Brazil, Canada, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, or Papua New Guinea are required to use the latest FSC risk assessments to conform with standard FSC-STD-40-005 Requirements for Sourcing FSC Controlled Wood.

The approved risk assessment categories for Honduras may be used in the creation of extended company risk assessments when implementing the standard.

FSC risk assessments are used to determine the risk of an organization obtaining material from unacceptable wood sources when sourcing controlled wood.
