FSC calls for applicants for the IGI Working Group
Following the approval of the revised FSC Principles and Criteria (P&C) by the FSC membership, we are now initiating the process to develop International Generic Indicators which will serve as baseline requirements from which Forest Stewardship Standards shall be based. FSC is seeking applicants for the technical Working Group that will lead this development process.
Attached please find the terms of reference for the International Generic Indicators (IGI) Working Group.
FSC members are invited to submit their applications using the attached application form.
FSC Network Partners and FSC-accredited certification bodies should not apply to be on this Working Group; a separate process is being utilized to solicit their participation.
FSC is also establishing an IGI Consultative Forum for stakeholder who are not able to participate in the Working Group yet want to provide direct and ongoing input into the process.
An application form for the IGI Consultative Forum is also attached.
All applications must be submitted to Karen Steer, k.steer at fsc point org, by 27 April 2012.
The Working Group will commence its work in June 2012.
