© FSC A.C.The Small and Community Label Option is an option to distinguish products from small and community producers in the market. The goal is to improve the benefits that small and community producers gain from FSC certification.
The goal of this program is to distinguish small and community products in the market place. It includes new label text, a marketing campaign, and support for producers such as creating new supply chain linkages.
The program is open to all Forest Management certificate holders that qualify as a small and low intensity managed forest (SLIMF) or are indigenous or traditional community producers. This program is partially funded through the generous contributions of AkzoNobel as part of the Global Partnership agreement.
