Allegations: The complainant alleges that Korindo is involved in significant conversion of forests to plantations or non-forest use, destruction of high conservation values and violation of traditional and human rights due to the clearing of forests for the establishment of oil palm plantations in Indonesia.


4 September 2018 FSC Managing Director Kim Carstensen informs the parties to the complaint of the outcome of the FSC Board meeting in August.
8 August 2018 FSC Board discusses the case at their meeting in Bonn and concludes that an additional expert analysis needs to be conducted prior for a decision on the case to be taken. See the FSC statement here.
July 2018 Submission of the complaints panel investigation report with a recommendation (and quality assessment) to the FSC Board of Directors.
May – June 2018 FSC Secretariat produces a quality assessment report, assessing the quality of the complaints panel investigation.
January - April 2018 Complaints panel analyzes the information gathered during the investigation and develops its complaints panel investigation report.
