Tetra Pak® delivers more than 26 billion FSC labeled carton packages worldwide in 2012

© Tetra Pak, 2013The 2013 Tetra Pak® Sustainability Update, launched on 9 September, has announced that 26.4 billion Tetra Pak packages in 39 countries carried the FSC label in 2012. This is a 40 percent increase over 2011, and represents continued steady growth since 2008, when the first 0.2 billion FSC labeled Tetra Pak packages were brought onto the market. read more …

FSC Denmark Design Award winners explore the ‘FSC side’ of China

© FSC DenmarkAnne Nørbjerg and Sanne Kyed, the Danish winners of the 2012 FSC Design Award, recently travelled to China – their prize for designing the ‘DryUnder’, a combined balcony table and clothes drying rack. During the trip, they visited a workshop in Shengzhou, an FSC certified forest and an IKEA factory where furniture is made using FSC certified wood. HSH new paper policy favors FSC certified products

FSC certified paper is a key element in green printing in North America

© FSC A.C.A new report finds that 64% of North American printers participating in a survey prefer FSC certified paper. The Green Print Leadership Report, published by Canopy, a Canadian -based non-governmental organization that works with 700 North American companies, surveyed the top 50 North American printers (as documented by Printing Impressions 2011 and 2012), of which 36 responded. read more …
