The FSC Procedure for the Development and Revision of FSC Normative Documents specifies the requirements and procedures to be followed by FSC for the development, approval and revision of FSC policies, standards, procedures that are normative for certification bodies and certificate holders.
In July 2011 a Working Group was established to guide the revision process of this procedure, responding to FSC Membership Motions of the General Assembly in 2008 and 2011.
Two rounds of public consultation were carried out since end of last year. A third revised draft has been written based on stakeholder comments received during the last public consultation round in April/ May and is now published for stakeholder comment.
